Program Overview

The Geed UP 4 Life Project is a high-energy, interactive school engagement program that combines live music, breakdancing, storytelling and positive mental health messaging to inspire students to make healthy choices, build resilience and strengthen connections with their peers and community.

Using entertainment as a vehicle for engagement, students are encouraged to participate, reflect and learn practical strategies that support their wellbeing while having fun.

Program Schedule (60 Minutes)

1. Welcome & Introduction (5 Minutes)

Introduction to Geed UP Band and the Geed UP 4 Life Project.

Overview of the session and key themes:

Mental Health

Connection

Confidence

Resilience

Purpose

2. “The Worst Show Ever” Interactive Performance (20 Minutes)

A high-energy pop-up performance featuring:

Live music performances.

Audience participation.

Comedy and interactive challenges.

Breakdance demonstrations.

Positive messages woven throughout the show.

Key Outcomes:

Captures student attention.

Creates a fun and inclusive atmosphere.

Demonstrates the power of creativity, teamwork and self-expression.

3. Geed UP 4 Life Talk (15 Minutes)

An engaging and relatable presentation covering our fundamentals:

Topics may include:

Mental health and wellbeing.

Dealing with challenges.

Positive friendships.

Bullying and inclusion.

Goal setting.

Healthy coping strategies.

The importance of asking for help.

4. Student Q&A Session (10 Minutes)

An open and interactive discussion where students can ask questions about:

Music and performing.

Breakdancing.

Mental health and wellbeing.

Confidence and resilience.

Following dreams and overcoming challenges.

This section allows students to connect directly with the presenters and hear authentic lived experiences.

5. Meet & Greet / Photos / Positive Connections (10 Minutes)

Students have the opportunity to:

Meet GEED UP BAND performers.

Take photos.

Ask additional questions.

Receive encouragement and positive messages.

Build meaningful connections with positive role models.
